Name:   Jennifer Hirshfield

Description:   Jennifer Hirshfield’s work is influenced by her universal need to make connections with nature, animals and people. Her application of paint and looseness in stroke, stems from her studies at UC Davis under influential Bay Area Figurative painters. The energy applied in the painting process is meant to mirror the energy of the paintings subject – whether a figure or ocean the energy is the same.

Name:   Amy Smith

Description:   Simply stated, I make hats. I use the best materials I can find for the job — usually straw for Spring / Summer, and felt – (either new or recycled vintage) — for Fall / Winter. I block the material on antique blocks I’ve been collecting over the years (works of art in their own right — not to mention, a great history lesson). I usually finish by hand, adding beads and other embellishments —– fine millinery with a twist.

Name:   Terry Sauvé

Her luminous landscapes connect the viewer with something both ephemeral as well as transcendent. Her images are archetypal–hitting with a deep emotional impact, creating a sense of harmony and balance. Living close to nature in Northern California, she paints the places she loves most.
